2020MUSIC,THEBESTPARTOFTHISYEARWITHJAMESMCCRAE
As our last episode of the year, I thought it would be fun to do a year in review of the music of 2020 with my friend James McCrae. Neither of us are music experts, but we do have similar taste in music and got a lot of comfort out of music this year. It’s been such a strange year and so hard for artists to not be able to tour, and as consumers we miss live shows so much. In this episode we each came with 3 albums we loved this year and talked about songs we listened to on repeat. We also talked about how art is always best when you "go with yourself," as Fiona Apple said in her 1997 speech. And in the vein of being yourself, we end the show with a conversation with Dr. Sophia Kogan about body image, vanity, how our hair defines us, and standards of beauty.
