FOOD,SEX,&CREATIVITYWITHSTEPHANIEDANLER

In this conversation I got to speak with one of my favorite writers, Stephanie Danler. She is the author of the international bestseller, Sweetbitter, and the creator and executive producer of the Sweetbitter series on Starz. Her work has appeared in the Sewanee Review, Vogue, The New York Times Book Review, and The Paris Review Daily. I loved her latest book, Stray, a memoir that came out recently. In this episode we discuss many of the themes of the book including inheriting trauma, boundaries, relationships, motherhood and more. We also talk about writing, her process, creativity, and food.
Show notes:
- Sweetbitter (Book)
- Stray (Book)
- Fierce Attachments by Vivian Gornick (Book)
- Inheritance by Dani Shapiro (Book)
- Luster by Raven Leilani (Book)
