Let It Out | EMILY ELYSE MILLER

I don't remember when or how I began following today's guest Emily Elyse Miller but I'm real happy I did.

She's way cool. Her work centers around morning rituals. She's is a writer and founder of BreakfastClub, a morning club that brings together the coolest creatives in each city over a morning meal, and most recently the author of “BREAKFAST: The Cookbook”, with nearly 400 recipes from 80 countries. She likes mornings for the softness and realness of them.

We talk about mornings but much more, in addition to her career in food writing she has a background in fashion as a trend-caster, so we talk about, trend forecasting, style, working in food and how that impacts body image. We get into an interesting discussion about loneliness when you’re a single freelancer + more. She gives great advice and I really enjoyed her.

Listen – my skin is really sensitive so I don’t try out a lot of products, but I’ve been using Bioclarity for YEARS and I’m really excited they’re sponsoring the podcast. They’re a clean, green, skin care company that is cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, and have no artificial fragrances. It’s helped me a lot with the hyper pigmentation from acne scars. I use their clear skin routine for combination/oily breakout prone skin. They have other skin care regiments but that’s the one that I use right now. It comes with everything you need to make your skin look great. It’s not overly drying, it helps with redness and events out my skin tone. It’s a 3 step process cleanse, treat and restore. I used their spot treatment for a pimple I had the other day but when I woke up the next day and it was gone. I honestly love this stuff and I hope you guys give it a try because they’re offering Let It Out listeners a really good deal.
